It’s been a crazy few weeks with lot of things going on. First and foremost… THE CHERRY HARVEST is in full swing.
The Pick Your Own stands are set up in the orchards. My two grand kids are busy working the stand at Schartner’s Farm Market on Highway 42 just south of Egg Harbor. If you get there, say hi to Jaden and Adi. (They are adorable but I am biased).
The Door County Triathlon was last weekend. Our daughter Nellie, her husband Eric and I all worked the packet pick up on Friday. That is until the assistant race director moved me to… body marking! Yes, you heard me, I had to put the tattoo stickers in 4 place on the athletes bodies. We’ll chat about this story another time. #notmyfavoritethingtodo All of the athletes are super cool and we had a lot of laughs even though I was touching their body all over and I am not a licensed masseuse.
Here is a picture of the my kids at the Sprint on Saturday…
We sat through thunder and lighting but it cleared off and the race ran without a hitch other than a hour later start time.
Music your thing? Here is the Peg Egan Schedule…
The Plein Air Festival is going on as we speak and we can see artists all over painting the landscape. Pretty cool if you ask me.
The first half of August is busy but once the kiddos start getting ready for school things loosen up a bit. It’s the perfect time to visit Door County!
