Meanwhile, in Door County, it’s CHERRY TIME! Pick your owns started last weekend and Door County is just bustling! The weather has been grand and we are enjoying every minute.

The Plein Air Festival is in full swing with artists setting up in the harbors, fields and villages. It’s quite a sight to see. Not familiar? Check it out here.
Back tracking a bit, we had a great time at the July 4 parade. Mark and I did our usual float and again the weather was great!
Real signs this year as opposed to poster board and markers. We are stepping up in the world. In other news, our daughter Nellie and her fiance Eric are getting married June 21, 2014 at none other than Egg Harbor Lodge. We have never held a wedding reception here but with help from the Door County Wedding Planner, Carrie Baldwin we are in good hands. We are expecting bad weather so if the weather is nice it will just be a bonus. We are all thrilled.
In Egg Harbor news, there is a new restaurant behind the Chocolate Chicken called Harbor View Grill. They have remodeled and the restaurant has gotten good reviews. The Door County Sports and Classics Car Show will be held all over Egg Harbor August 17. Even if you don’t think you like crazy cars, you’ll change your mind. It’s really amazing. Be there or be square.
