I didn’t have a whole lot of time to take pictures yesterday… the park was just jammed with people and we were crazy busy. The day was beautiful, the food good and the music amazing. Many of our volunteers are friends of our good friend Mike Kaye who after a virus in his heart is at St. Luke’s in Milwaukee and in need of a heart transplant. The volunteers will receive money for working which will then be given to Mike and his family to help with their mountain of expenses. Working the food tent and cooking the corn is a hard and thankless job and we are truly fortunate to have these people give us a helping hand.
Today, I am going back to hell the festival in hopes of taking a walk around and getting a few more photos. That and getting a Bloody Mary from my pal Joe at Shipwrecked.
